Number 88 Update

88. Eat at 5 new restaurants [1/5]

Tonight my friend Tasha and I went to Seattle to visit her sister and decided to have some dinner up there. I haven't actually been to many restaurants in Seattle but Tasha's sister gave us a lot of choices. We decided to go to Julia's which was on Broadway on Capital Hill (the gay district). In fact most of the restaurants she suggested were on Broadway. Let me tell you this place is amazing. We ended up getting a order of calamari for a start, delicious, I got turkey chili, delicious, Tasha got Chipotle Chicken Pasta, delicious everything was amazing. Not only that but there were so many gay people around and let me tell you they were all gorgeous, there was plenty of eye candy to keep me looking. Not only is this a restaurant though but every Friday and Saturday they run a drag show! I'll def be going back for the food and most likely to see the drag show :)

Number 18 Update

18. Cook my way through my Dessert cookbook (inspired by Julie/Julia yes) [1/138]

I know my list isn't supposed to start until September first, but I went to a going away party recently and decided to make something from my baking book. So I decided to make some macaroons. I made two batches, normal coconut and then orange coconut. I hate to blow my own horn but they were delicious and a hit at the party. I hate to count this...but I'm just going to count it because they were so good.

In case you were wondering what book I'm using follow the link: http://www.amazon.com/Baking-Home-Culinary-Institute-America/dp/0471450952

I got it as a Christmas present from my best friend Natasha. I've only cooked all of 3 things out of it so thats why it's one of my goals to cook every recipe.

Update you guys later

Day Zero Project-101 in1001

One of my very good friends, Jessica, aka FemellaPacalis on Plurk (the lesser known twitter) has enlightened me to a very awesome website (http://dayzeroproject.com/). This site invites users to create a list of 101 tasks they wish to finish in 1001 days or 2.75 years. You can then upload your list onto their site for everyone to see. In order to upload you list though you need to create a blog so here I am. A list of my 101 tasks shall be up soon...well as soon as i can think of 101 things to do.
